Studies with 5% minoxidil

There are far fewer published studies on using doses of minoxidil higher than 2%. Upjohn currently sell "Rogaine extra strength" over the counter. This is a 5% minodixil solution. Upjohn reported the results of a 120 week study where 5% minoxidil use was compared to 2% and placebo. The results of global photograph observation are shown below.
