are the potential side effects of progesterone treatment
Common side effects of systemic use include; transient dizziness
(especially when administered with food), inability to concentrate,
fatigue, headache, migrane, Vertigo, mental depression.
Risks also include; chloasma, risk to a fetus if pregnant, uterine
bleeding, menstrual irregularity, breast tenderness, cramps, nausea,
pruritus, jaundice, rash, fluid retention
Rare side effects include; thrombotic disorders.
Side effects with topical use of progesterone drugs have not been
recorded.
